Message from Ryan Carnahan, DCH

Ryan Carnahan is a Homeopath and Natural Medicine Practitioner with over 29 years of clinical experience. He has treated thousands of patients helping them regain their health from conditions such as chronic pain, injuries, and concussions as well as digestive, immune, respiratory and mental and emotional concerns.

Ryan has been passionate about natural medicine for most of his life. His grandfather was one of the early chiropractors and he remembers being adjusted by him when he was 5 years old. Following this path, Ryan began studying natural healing methods in his early teens and later graduated from The Vancouver Academy of Homeopathy, The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and The East/West School of Planetary Herbology. Ryan also studied acupuncture and Chinese medicine for 2 years at The Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences and has extensive post-graduate training in the fields of applied kinesiology, osteopathic therapies and energy medicine.

Understanding the importance of natural medicine as a health care option, Ryan is committed to providing comprehensive, holistic health care for his patients and helping them live their lives to the fullest.

Ryan is the author of Body: The Essentials of Health and Wellness and four eBooks in the Healer at Home—Natural First Aid Series.

He co-owns Mountain Vista Health Centre with his wife Dr. Kira Frketich in Port Moody British Columbia where he practices with a group of other health care professionals.
